Torino World Affairs Institute (T.wai) is an independent, not-for-profit research centre which conducts research on the international relations of East Asia, Chinese foreign/domestic policy, and changing world politics.

Each year, T.wai organizes the TOChina Summer School in partnership with the Department of Culture, Politics, and Society of the University of Torino. The summer school has been successfully held since 2007 with the support of Fondazione CRT, helping outstanding students, young scholars, and engaged professionals reflect on the complexity of China’s development from a plurality of perspectives.

The 11th edition of TOChina Summer School offers its participants the opportunity to receive world-class training from academics of the caliber of Robert Ross (Boston College), Patricia Thornton (University of Oxford), Douglas Paal (Carnegie Endowment for International Peace), Zha Daojiong (Peking University), Kent Deng, and Christopher Coker (LSE).
