The Fifth edition of the Study Days on Chinese Linguistics is promoted by the Italian Association of Chinese Linguistics (AILC) , it was already held in in Venice (2014), in Milan (2015), in Rome (2016) and in Naples (2017). It is aimed at bringing together sinologists and linguists who do research in Chinese Linguistics and in one or more of its subareas, such as: Lexicon and Semantics, Syntax and Morphology, Historical Linguistics and Language Teaching and Acquisition.
The Fifth edition of the Study Days on Chinese Linguistics promoted by the Italian Association of Chinese Linguistics (AILC) will be held at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, Milan, Italy, on November 23 and 24, 2018.

Call for Papers:
Those wishing to participate to the Study Days are required to give their talk either in Italian or in English, they will have 20 minutes time to present their research. Proposals for presentations should be related (but not limited to) the following areas of research:
Lexicon and Semantics
Syntax and Morphology
Historical Linguistics
Language Teaching and Acquisition
Participants who wish to deliver a speech at the Study Days are invited to submit their personal information and an anonymous abstract (of no more than 500 words) on Easychair, following the instructions given by the system at the link below:

The abstract should specify the theoretical framework, research questions and methodology, main results and conclusions, including the cited bibliography.
Abstract submission deadline: April 30, 2018
Notification of acceptance: June 30, 2018
