Vacant Position: Chinese Literature – Assistant Professor tenure-track

The Asian Studies Program at Vanderbilt University seeks to make an appointment in Chinese literature. Rank is Assistant Professor tenure-track. Period of specialization is open, but the successful candidate will be able to teach courses involving both premodern and modern literature. Normal course load is generally four per year. Ability to teach classical Chinese language courses is desirable. PhD must be in hand prior to the beginning of Fall 2015 term.
