The Department of Modern Languages and Literatures, Faculty of Humanities, Tomas Bata University in Zlín, Czech Republic, announces a job opening for the position of a lecturer and a guarantor of the study programme Chinese for Business Administration. The guarantor oversees contents and sustainability of the study programme and assists in the development of the programme. Teaching responsibilities include undergraduate core courses in the field of Chinese linguistics or Chinese literature/culture, as well as courses of general Chinese.

We require
- Ph.D. degree in Chinese philology (linguistics or literature/culture)
- Long-term experience in academia
- Solid publication history in the area (incl. papers and monographs, especially in recent 5 years)
- Excellent communication skills in English (ability to publish in English)
- Long-term commitment (4-6 years)
The position is open from September 2016, provided that the new study course is accredited.
