The Hebrew University of Jerusalem: The position in Japanese studies is open to candidates in all fields of research. Candidates in Japanese studies should have excellent command of Japanese.
In the studies of Modern India the position is open to candidates from all relevant disciplines whose research focus on periods from the colonial era to the present day.
Excellent command of at least one of the Indian languages (not including English) is required. In the studies of contemporary China the position is open to candidates whose research focuses on current affairs, such as society, politics, economy, or Chinese culture.
Excellent command of Chinese is required.
The language of instruction is Hebrew, but candidates who do not possess a mastery of Hebrew will be given the time to acquire facility of Hebrew during the first years of their appointment.
