Candidates should have completed Ph.D. in Chinese studies or related field and should possess native or near-native fluency in English and Mandarin. Duties include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses; conducting research on transcultural Chinese studies, Chinese thought/philosophy, or Chinese new materialist studies; and service work such as participating in the continued development of the Department’s program in Chinese studies.
