Every participant contributes a paper, summed up in a short oral presentation
Please send your application form including a paper title until May 31, 2017 by email to the organizing committee wacs@china-studies.com
Please send the abstract (200 words, if possible also 500 Chinese characters, if not, translation will be provided) until June 15, 2017 by email to the organizing committee wacs@china-studies.com
Please send the paper (10.000 words) until July 1, 2017 by email to the organizing committee wacs@china-studies.com (no extension possible, papers not submitted until July 15 will be considered rejected)
Your paper can be in Chinese (8,000-15,000 characters), or English (10000 words)
If you want to present at the conference, please submit the enclosed form by email to the conference organizing committee. The conference papers will be edited and published in a conference volume, and a selection of the Chinese papers will be published in journals too, e.g. in European Journal of Chinese Studies.
Conference Attendance Fee
The event has been made possible thanks to the sponsors European Science & Scholarship Association, European Dream of the Red Chamber Society and the host Witten/Herdecke University. There is a conference fee for speakers (120 € for each non-member, 90 € for members), none for the audience. Please arrange travel by yourself. If you register in time, the Conference Organizing Committee offers to help you to find accommodation at conference discount rates (90 € each night, double rooms 50 € for each person).
Registration
Please send the registration form back until May 31, together with a title of your paper. After a quality assurance process, the conference program and the list of participants will be finalized.

首屆世界漢學論壇（紀念德中協會60周年）
暨世界漢學研究會會員代表大會

尊敬的 先生/女士：
世界漢學研究會自2016年宣告成立以來，已有來自世界40多個國家和地區的漢學家和學者加盟。為推進漢學的深入發展，促進中西方學界的團結與合作，世界漢學研究會與德中協會擬聯合舉辦「首屆世界漢學論壇（紀念德中協會60周年）暨世界漢學研究會會員代表大會」。素仰閣下於漢學研究造詣精深，特函請撥冗與會並發表卓見宏文（會議網站為 http://china-studies.com）。茲將初擬會議相關事宜報告如後，並恭候回覆。
一、會議時間
會議暫定於2017年8月18日至23日召開，8月18日報到，19日上午世界漢學研究會會員代表大會，19日下午至20日下午學術研討會，21至22日分組討論， 23日離會。
二、會議地點
德國維藤大學（Witten University）, Alfred-Herrhausen-Straße 44, 58455 Witten。德國的西德魯爾區維藤市。最近的機場：杜塞爾多夫（Düsseldorf, 請提前通知會務組安排接送班車）。與會者也可以自己從機場火車站坐火車到維藤市站（票價大概20歐元，總共需要90分鐘）。

四、會議使用語言
會議使用中文與英文兩種語言，同時配備“中←→德”同聲傳譯。
五、論文要求
1、申請參會者需提交規範的學術論文一篇，並就此作簡短口頭報告。
2、參會的申請表與演講題目請於2017年5月31日前以電子文本的形式發送到會議學術委員會電子郵箱：wacs@china-studies.com。
3、論文摘要（500個漢字，200英文詞）請於2017年6月15日前以電子文本的形式發送到會議學術委員會電子郵箱：wacs@china-studies.com。
4、論文請於2017年7月1日前以電子文本的形式發送到會議學術委員會電子郵箱：wacs@china-studies.com（2017年7月15日以後，會議學術委員會將不再接收會議論文）。
5、論文語言可以是中文（8000-15000個漢字左右）或者英文（10000詞左右）。中文論文須符合規範要求，即請在論文標題之下標明作者姓名及供職單位；如有注釋請採用腳注形式，全文注釋每頁重新編號。英文論文請按國際規範寫作。
6、所有與會者在大會發表論文；會後將擇優編輯出版論文集。
六、與會費用
會議收取會務費120歐元/人（會員90歐元/人），其餘會議期間的費用由主辦方承擔。交通費、住宿費自理。住宿費單人間每晚約90歐元，雙人房每人約50歐元。
七、會議回執及正式邀請
收到本邀請函後，請您及時填寫《會議回執》並於2017年5月31日前寄回，以便奉寄正式邀請函。正式邀請函，將在收到回執後隨第2號通知呈上。
