The Department of Sinology at the Centre for Eastern Languages and Cultures, Faculty of Classical and Modern Philology, Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” cordially invites you to participate in the jubilee academic conference marking the 35th Anniversary of the Sinology Programme
“CHINA – INNER AND OUTER PERSPECTIVES: CHALLENGES, INTERACTIONS AND PROSPECTS”
The conference will be held on 6 and 7 November 2026 at the Rectorate of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”
The conference is funded by state budget resources allocated for research activities at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” and participation is free of charge. The working languages of the conference will be Bulgarian, English and Chinese.

Confirmation of your participation will be sent by 15 July 2026.
The deadline for submission of full paper texts is 31 December 2026. Only papers formatted in accordance with the formatting guidelines will be accepted (see conference website).
